The title of a series of engravings of the Roman monuments, published by Buchet.

Visitors could take home a souvenir picture of their trip. From the end of the eighteenth/beginning of the nineteenth century, the bookseller Buchet sold individual engravings of monuments illustrating his works and also had large plates 'to decorate a sitting room'. Buchet also sold these prints by mail order.
