Very substantial restoration operations were conducted from 2006 until the end of 2010. They concerned facades and ground surfaces damaged by frost and pollution. First, the southern facade was used in an experimental phase to refine operating techniques. This was followed by work on the western facade in 2007-2008, the eastern facade in 2008-2009 and the northern facade in 2010. Restoration involved a total of 44,000 hours of work.

Cost: €3.5 M inc. tax, of which €1.188 M was paid by the state and €1.269 M by the City of Nîmes.
